What: Deering Porchfest is a free annual event taking place all over the Deering Center neighborhood. It is filled with musical performances and other events and is a celebration of the neighborhood
Where: Deering Center (Outdoors in Various Location), rain or shine
When: September 15th, 12pm - 6pm
What you need to know: Porchfest takes place all over the neighborhood of Deering, but a good place to start would be at the intersection of Brentwood and Best streets. The community posted a map and timeline events that we encourage you to get familiar with before planning your day. Have fun!

About the Authors
Hello Portland was started by Mike Warren and Madison Hopkins. Mike is a Computer Science student at the Roux Institute and Madison just started her residency at Maine Medical Center.
When we just moved to Portland in June, we were excited to explore everything the city had to offer; however, we had a difficult time finding events in Maine that we were actually interested in. We selfishly started Hello Portland to help ourselves find events… but we hope you enjoy it as much as we do and find some things to do that you may not have found otherwise!
